This is Annie from Life Design Company LIDECO.
There are many traditional brick buildings in Brooklyn.
Bricks are made by baking the mixture of clay and sand.
The size is about 20×10×6 centimeters, as big as a lunch box.
Bricks are building materials mostly used for making walls, pavements and others in masonry.Traditional brick buildings are built individually one by one, which are often piled and bound together by mortar.
This is a Brick-style tile as a board. Nowadays, buildings are made with covering a wall with these tiles.
『レンガ』
ブルックリンにはたくさんの伝統的煉瓦造の建物があります。
煉瓦は粘土と砂を混ぜた物を焼いて作られます、大きさは約20×10×6cm、お弁当箱位大きさです。
主に壁や舗装を造るために使用される建築材料です。
伝統的煉瓦造りの建物は、一つ一つ造られます、モルタルによって積まれ固められています。
こちらは煉瓦調タイルです、板状になっています、最近はこちらを壁に貼る傾向にありあります。
